I've always been a fan of the classic comics so it was a treat to work on this show with David Steinberg. It reminded me how much I love Mel Brooks and Don Rickles and it had great insights into how they approach their work. David wanted a OTS to show that all these comics are interconnected in their styles and history while having a bright color palette to offset the more subdued interview clips.
