Memory Of A Killer turned out to be a dual development project, developing and executing both the marketing look and the main title, using design to reflect the tightly controlled world of its central character.
MARKETING DEVELOPMENT
The marketing campaign embraced a minimal, precise aesthetic that mirrored his calculated hitman persona. Controlled and exact. A taut thriller. As a nod to his moments of disorientation, I built a turnkey blur/focus rig in the toolkit to enable the custom treatment of type to match promo narrative.
MAIN TITLE DEVELOPMENT
The main title added the story point of his advancing Alzheimer's and how it was creating a messy chasm between his personas, blurring the once strictly defined and immutable separation.

There was additional early development to portray the duality of his life, Suburb Dad and City Killer, all at once. We only had 6 working days total to create this sequence and the team really came together to bring it home with some creative problem solving.
