Another amazing team effort to pull this multi-step tease creative to the finish line. A true vfx workflow, and one of our department's first foray's into using Unreal for broadcast marketing.

Turn on the audio, it's more fun.

Our first step was to generate the spacesuit. A woman's base mesh was modeled to the costume department's sketches and and expanded into the necessary selections we new we would need to refine. The hard surface backpack was modeled in Cinema 4D and imported in and linked to the mesh. Care was taken to add pinching and stitching to the to the panel seams for further realism.
Once the base model was complete, additional fine tuning of the texture/s was performed on substance Designer
In the last step of the spacesuit preparation, it was handed off to rig the model in Cinema 4D.
While character development was playing out, our world building in Unreal had been steadily moving forward.
